OUR POP UP NATIVITY

Bethesda was full of shepherds, stars, angels, inn keepers, sheep, donkeys, many wise men and two very pregnant Marys. Adults and youngsters dressed up to take part in a pop up nativity and it was all great fun. Thanks to the Bible Society for their wonderful resources.

Afterwards we wrote our prayer requests on stars and posted them at the front of church. And then after that we enjoyed a wonderful lunch prepared and cooked by Dorothy, Debbie, Candice, Joan, Sue and many others helping. The young people helped to serve the food to the 80+ people who enjoyed every mouthful. Thanks to all who prepared, cooked, served, cleared and washed up!

Family Christmas

Bethesda looked its sparkling best over Christmas thanks to our wonderful decorating elves. The people who came in for the dementia friendly carol service enjoyed familiar carols, Newtown School choir, Singing for the Brain Group and of course mince pies and cups of tea afterwards.
