Sunday 3rd December, 10.30am: What if God was one of us?
Christians believe that Jesus is God. At Christmas time, we remember that God was willing to become human and live among us. In our service this morning we'll consider why this happened and also why God would choose to leave heaven behind to come to live among us.
Sunday 10th December, 10.30am: Hope when things feel hopeless
The nativity story is like an episode of Eastenders. It's full of hardship, misery and pain but in the midst of this, the saviour of the world is waiting to be born. Into these dark times, the light of the world is born bringing hope in the stress and angst of life. In our service this morning we will consider how the nativity is so relevant today with the struggles that people are facing in this post pandemic, cost of living affected and war torn world. Where do we look for hope when we are struggling?
